Cherish Tree
The Cherish Tree is an initiative led by Kevin Kingma and his team in Mount Brydges.
There’s something magical about the holiday season and the lighting of the lights! It can evoke fond memories of days gone by, reignite childlike wonder and is a sign of hope – a reminder that there is light even in darker times.
2020 was the first time gold stars were added to the town tree. The community came together and generously donated funds in support of a local charity during the holiday season.
In the last year we have been organizing events with all proceeds benefitting Canadian Mental Health Association, Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services in Strathroy. CMHA TVAMHS is an integrated mental health and addiction agency providing community-based supports and services. With the support of local businesses and individuals in the community, over $100,000 has been donated to date.
If you plan to give this holiday season, please consider supporting CMHA through the Cherish Tree. You can also honor friends and neighbours or remember your loved ones through your donation.
Every dollar raised will make an impact in your community! In the form below you can share the name(s) you would like to see on your star and we will add it to the tree.
Each star is $20. Tax receipts will be issued automatically for any amount $10 or greater.
We would like to acknowledge the generosity of Summit Tree Service who each year donate their services and time which make the lighting of the tree possible.
Wishing you all a beautiful holiday season filled with magic and light,
Kevin, Kate, and Meg
