Bereavement Services Program

Bereavement Services are available to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one as a result of suicide and/or substance use. As more individuals are dealing with their own mental health concerns and the incidence of substance use continues to rise, many families and caregivers are faced with a different type of grief due to an unexpected loss. The stigma associated with such a loss can compound our grief and exacerbate feelings of guilt, shame and despair.

Our bereavement counsellor will connect with you, offering to assess and support you with improving the quality of your own life by developing coping strategies, reducing isolation, integrating your loss and regaining your own well-being.
