Justine’s Annual Halloween Haunt

The 2024 Annual Halloween Haunt is the eleventh anniversary of the event!

Starting in 2013 and hosted by Justine Jeffries, the annual event takes place in London, Ontario to support and raise money to support the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).

Why support the haunt?

Did you know that in any given year, 1 in 5 Canadians experiences a mental illness or addiction problem? By the time Canadians reach 40 years of age, 1 in 2 have (or have had) a mental illness.

For those of you who are not aware, in 2012 just 10 days shy of their favourite holiday and after 28 years of battling addiction, Justine lost her mother to an overdose. Then in June 2015 her Uncle Brad, who was fighting his addiction issues, went missing and still is to this day.

So, every year she raises money for the Canadian Mental Health Association as she believes we must end the stigma and help others going through similar issues.

This year, the Haunt will include several events for Halloweeners to enjoy, such as:

  • The original Walk-through Haunt, running October 25 – 27 and October 31 at 26 Aponi Crescent, London (Free! Cash donations accepted)
  • Comedy Show at House Craft Burgers on October 17
  • Halloween-themed photo shoots
  • Silent Auction, beginning on October 25
  • 50/50 draw ($10 per ticket or $25 for three tickets)
