Families CARE starting September 2024

Families CARE is a 12-week educational support program brought to you by family members with lived experience supporting those with substance use concerns. The program is scheduled to start a new session and we’re seeking your feedback to help us determine the best day and time in September 2024.

This 12-week model is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and also includes a one-year membership to valuable safety and de-escalation training. Families CARE is a group-based program that helps family members cope and relate effectively with the person who has a substance use concern. The program will also incorporate a Peer support lens to offer participants connection and understanding through shared or similar experiences.
