Softening Our Internal Storm promotes well-being by increasing awareness of how our body responds to stress and the coping strategies we can offer ourselves. The core skill involves recognizing what you’re feeling in the moment, accepting those emotions or sensations as valid signals, and responding with the coping tools you’ve prepared for the situation.
