CMHA TVAMHS Prepares for Phased Opening of London HART Hub

CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services (CMHA TVAMHS) is moving ahead with preparations to launch London’s new Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub. In September 2024, the agency announced intent to submit a proposal to the Province to lead a HART Hub for the city of London. The proposal was submitted in October 2024.

The Ministry of Health confirmed in January that CMHA TVAMHS will operate one of the province’s 28 HART Hubs, funded for approximately $6.3 million. London’s hub is a new service to the community and the Consumption & Treatment Services Site in London remains open.

Initially intended to be open by April 2025, all HART Hubs experienced delays due to the recent provincial election, which led to a cease in interaction with the Ministry of Health. Active engagement has since resumed, and the organization expects funding to be finalized shortly, with a phased opening now planned for May 2025.

In anticipation of confirmed funding, CMHA TVAMHS has continued operational planning. Once the approval of the budget is secured, the organization will immediately begin hiring and training staff.

We thank all partners and community members for their patience and continued support as this valued community resource moves toward completion.
