Are you passionate about mental health and addiction advocacy? CMHA Thames Valley Addiction & Mental Health Services is looking for dedicated community members to join our Board of Directors. This passionate group of volunteers plays a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of our organization.
About the Board of Directors
CMHA Thames Valley Addiction & Mental Health Service’s Board of Directors is comprised of a chair, vice-chair, treasurer/secretary and a number of directors.
Our Board is united by a shared passion for mental health and addiction advocacy. We bring unique skills in leadership, policy development and governance to support our mission. Joining our Board means you will:
- Influence strategic decisions
- Guide operational improvements
- Advocate for mental health and addiction services
- Collaborate with a likeminded, committed and diverse team
- Serve as an active advocate and ambassador for the organization by leveraging connections, networks, and resources to contribute towards attracting future donors and achieving fundraising goals
We are particularly interested in recruiting members who can represent the Oxford, Elgin, and Middlesex county regions.

- Enterprise Risk Management: Ensure we effectively manage and mitigate risks
- Health Equity: Reflect the diverse fabric of Thames Valley and promote equity in all of our initiatives
