Connecting to the Moment – Emotion Regulation Skills
This program will introduce participants to skills which connect us to a life worth living. Participants will engage with other group members to learn and build skills of Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation and Distress Tolerance.
These skills will be presented over the course of four 8-week sessions. Participants can register for each individual session as they are offered.
Difficulties in regulating our painful emotions are central to challenges in our lives. To work towards emotional self-validation, we will learn a variety of skills and strategies to balance our emotions and improve our relationships with others, leading us to a life worth living.
